The most backwards compatible change would be to change them to string slices. This would allow the user to keep their old configuration, but add additional NICs/Networks as they need. The first one - ipconfig /release - forces your network adapter to drop its assigned IP address, while the second command - ipconfig /renew - renews the network adapter’s IP address.
